Weekly Winners

Really, aren't we all winners?

Every so often, I will post a new photograph of some unique element within the Stuart Area. It might be anything or anywhere, but it will always be about our neighborhood. If you are the first to correctly identify the location in an email to Ispy@stuartarea.org, then fame and glory will be yours when I post your name in the Winner's Column.

Photo 3: The Ionic Icon - What the heck is it?

You've seen it being erected and you've wondered. What does it mean? Is there symbolism in the horseshoe shape? What happened to the lilac bushes? The best answer will win a Stuart t-shirt and a wreath of laurel.

Photo 2: The Iron Works - Where is it?

The first person to correctly identify the location of this photo will win a collectible assortment of AOL Installation CD's.

Answer: This is one of the driveway posts that separates 436 Stuart Avenue from the two neighboring Queen Anne Homes built in the 1880's by Mr. Rickman. The Iron Works fence stretches from the first home he built and lived in and past the two he sold and/or rented.

Identified by: Dianne L. Roberts, knowledgeable and friendly neighbor
